Makes 6 donuts
Satisfy your sweet cravings with a Keto Chocolate Glazed Donut! This low-carb delight is perfectly fluffy and drenched in decadent chocolate. A unique twist on a classic treat, it’s a guilt-free indulgence that’s as fun as it is delicious!
INGREDIENTS
For the donut:
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Cooking spray
1 c. almond flour
1/4 c. keto-friendly granulated sugar (such as Swerve)
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1/4 c. heavy cream
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
For the glaze:
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. keto-friendly powdered sugar
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pre-heat oven to 350° and spray donut pan. Remember the donut hole centers!
2. Whisk almond flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
3. Mix melted butter, cream, eggs, and vanilla in a medium basin. Mix wet and dry components until just mixed. Fill each donut mold 3/4 full of batter.
4. Bake 15 minutes until donuts are brown and pulling away from pan. Allow to cool completely in pan before removing.
5. Meanwhile, make chocolate glaze: Combine powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a large bowl. Whisk water and vanilla until smooth.
6. Place donuts on a cooking wrack in a medium sheet tray after cooling. Pour glaze over donuts and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
