  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsps light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 56 g unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 medium bananas
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsps granulated sugar

Directions

  • Mash bananas then add egg, vanilla, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
  • Mix remaining dry ingredients together and slowly add into the banana mixture.
  • Gently stir in melted butter and applesauce.
  • Place in a lightly greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes.
