  • 3 bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups unbleached flour
  • 1/2 cup sweet cream salted butter

Directions

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, cut bananas into bowl and mix, then add flour, baking soda, and vanilla. Mix in chopped nuts, if desired.
  • Grease and fill regular loaf pan 1/2 full. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
  • Note: you can use this recipe and substitute applesauce for butter, sweetener (like Splenda) for sugar, and egg whites egg beaters for eggs.
