Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Directions

  • Mix all dry ingredients together.
  • Warm up water and pour all at once. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes, covered with a paper towel.
  • After 10 minutes divide into 15 1" balls. Place balls in a bowl and let sit for another 10 minutes.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out tortillas (8 to 10" diameter).
  • Heat a pan until water sizzles when sprinkled on it and throw in as many tortillas as you want to eat, one at a time.
  • Note: you can save the rest for up to 4 days without cooking them and after they are cooked you can leave them in the fridge to heat up and eat.
