- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 9" pie crust
- 2 large eggs
- 5 tbsps butter
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Melt butter and mix with corn syrup, sugar, and vanilla.
- Beat eggs in a separate bowl before adding to the mixture.
- Put pie crust in a mold, add chopped pecans, then pour the mixture.
- Cover lightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for 35 minutes or until mostly set but slightly jiggly.
