A good ol' homemade beef chili that's nice and quick.

- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 3 tsps garlic, minced
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 32 oz kidney beans
- 28 oz tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp ground basil, dried
- 1 cup water
- 2 oz chili peppers
Directions
- Brown meat (beef or venison).
- After meat is browned combine all ingredients in a pot.
- Cook on medium-low heat for 30 minutes.
- Top with some shredded cheese and/or sour cream.
