  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz mild ground italian sausage
  • 16 oz gluten free brown rice pasta
  • 9 oz, raw, yields brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)

Directions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet, add sausage and cook until browned. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, heat remaining oil and sauté brussels sprouts until tender. Season to taste.
  • Mix pasta, sausage, and brussels sprouts.
  • Transfer to a plate and garnish with parmesan cheese.
