Ingredients

  • 2 cups bow tie pasta
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2/3 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 2/3 cup fat free salad dressing
  • 0.12 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups spinach

Directions

  • Cook pasta until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain pasta thoroughly and rinse under cold water.
  • In a large bowl, combine pasta, tuna, onions, peas, salad dressing and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • To serve, place one cup of spinach on individual plates. Top each serving with 1/4 cup tuna salad and serve immediately.
  • Tip: to make a complete and colorful meal, serve this tuna salad with a blend of cubed cantaloupe, red grapes and strawberry halves. For variety top the salad with fresh dill or chives.
