Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups half and half
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 dash salt
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast meat
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup diced baby portabellas
  • 2 cups brown rice

Directions

  • Cook chicken and rice.
  • Boil broth and once boiled, add celery and carrots.
  • Add half and half.
  • Combine with chicken and rice, and seasonings.
  • Simmer.
  • Tastes best after a few hours of refrigeration to blend flavors.
