Ingredients

  • 16 oz boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup white flour
  • 3 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp chicken flavor bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups gnocchi with potato
  • 1/2 cup spinach

Directions

  • In a Dutch oven, brown chicken with 2 tablespoons of butter. Remove the chicken then add remaining butter. Sauté chopped onions, carrots, and garlic until tender.
  • Whisk in flour until blended, gradually stir in milk, cream, bouillon, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook, and stir until thickened for about 2 minutes.
  • Add gnocchi and spinach. Cook until spinach is wilted for about 3-4 minutes. Add chicken, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
