Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 40 oz ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 16 toasted multi grain hamburger buns

Directions

  • In non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add turkey and onion. Cook (stir occasionally) until turkey is no longer pink. Drain.
  • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker combine remaining ingredients except buns.
  • Stir in turkey mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Fill buns with 1/3 cup of the finished product.
