  • 1 cup dry brown rice
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 cubes chicken stock (dry, dehydrated)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 3 1/2 cups fat free low sodium chicken broth

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Note: you can use 1 medium onion, diced instead of the onion powder.
