  • 5 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 5 ml lemon juice from concentrate
  • 2 tbsp sweet cooking rice wine seasoning
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 thin slice onion
  • 24 oz cole slaw mix
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 large carrots, finely julienned
  • 2 tsps garlic (microplaned)
  • 2 tsps ginger
  • 1 strip green pepper
  • 1 strip red pepper
  • 2 oz toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions

  • In a large bowl make the sauce. Whisk together sugar, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, rice wine (mirin), sesame oil, lemon juice, rice vinegar and chili garlic sauce like Huy Fong brand.
  • Next, add the vegetables. Add cole slaw mix, julienned carrots, sliced onion, and julienned peppers and toasted sesame seeds.
  • Mix together, refrigerate and enjoy.
