  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 16 oz pinto beans
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 16 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 red hot chili pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 medium green onion
  • 4 tbsps chili seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp cumin

Directions

  • Brown the ground beef and then add chili powder mixture according to directions on package.
  • Add the other ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • I usually add low fat sour cream to my dish and low fat cheddar cheese.
