- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 16 oz pinto beans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 16 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 red hot chili pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 medium green onion
- 4 tbsps chili seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1 tbsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tbsp cumin
Directions
- Brown the ground beef and then add chili powder mixture according to directions on package.
- Add the other ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
- I usually add low fat sour cream to my dish and low fat cheddar cheese.
