  • 1 cup petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbsps chili powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup tomato sauce no salt added
  • 1 cup dried dark red kidney beans
  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Directions

  • Cook hamburger meat in a large pot until no longer pink.
  • Add onions and cook until clear. Drain and rinse. Return to pot.
  • Add all remaining ingredients at once.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings.
