Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 32 oz tomatoes, diced
- 31 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsps chili powder
- 2 tbsps cumin
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
- 16 oz salsa
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Directions
- In a large sauce pan cook onions ( I use a little water to help them soften and not get crispy) with garlic until the onions are soft.
- Add all other ingredients (except hot pepper) to pan. If you want a soupier chili, add some extra water till you get the consistency you desire.
- Cook about 15 minutes or until hot.
- Add hot pepper to season (optional).
