Donald Trump and his doctors published a letter praising his “excellent” health and “reduced” weight, sparking discussion among Palm Beach residents about the former president’s weight loss.
Some have speculated that Trump, like nearly every other celebrity in Hollywood, including Oprah Winfrey, may have used Ozempic or similar weight loss medicine.
However, a source tells Page Six that keeping away from the Mar-a-Lago buffet at his Florida club, along with assistance from his wife, Melania Trump, has done the trick.
According to the insider, Trump has “lost at least 30 pounds” and “people at the club say he’s eating healthier,” which includes less from the buffet.
They credit Melania for improving his eating habits.
Donald Trump is not known to be “scarfing down ice cream sundaes or chocolate cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream on it.”
In November, his personal physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald of New Jersey, wrote, “I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent.”
He went on to say, “Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity while maintaining a rigorous schedule.”
Some people have been suspicious about the assertions.
When Trump surrendered to Georgia police in August on charges stemming from his alleged efforts to change 2020 election results, his weight was allegedly quoted as 215 pounds.
That is 25 pounds less than Trump allegedly weighed when he was arrested in his Manhattan case in April. Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump activist, tweeted at the time, “215?” “That is an insane lie.”
While sources claim he has been losing weight, our source says “it’s pure speculation” that Trump is using weight-loss medicines “like Ozempic or Wegovy, which are very popular in Palm Beach, where everyone is suddenly looking thinner!”
Another insider added of Trump, “He does a lot of sports.” “He looks great.”
