These apple “donuts” are the sweet, juicy treats you didn’t know you needed! Crisp apple rings topped with creamy nut butter and a sprinkle of colorful toppings—they’re like the love child of a donut and a healthy snack. Fun to make, even more fun to eat!
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons almond butter
2 teaspoons shredded unsweetened coconut
1 medium apple
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove apple core with an apple coring tool.
2. Slice the apple crosswise into 8 thin rings, about 1/4 inch thick.
3. Spread each apple ring with almond butter.
4. Sprinkle with coconut.
