Hilary Duff disclosed she had COVID two days after announcing she is having her fourth child, her third with husband Mathew Koma.
Hilary Duff is going above and above to protect her family.
The Lizzie McGuire alum, who is expecting her and husband Matthew Koma’s third child, said she and the composer have COVID.
“We have Covid,” Hilary posted on Instagram Stories on December 14, “and our kids don’t, so now we wear masks again.”
The 36-year-old, who has two kids with Matthew, Banks, 5, and Mae, 2, as well as son Luca, 11, whose father is her ex-husband Mike Comrie, revealed her sickness just two days after announcing her fourth pregnancy.
Hilary announced her pregnancy by uploading a photo of her family’s holiday card, which depicts her cradling her baby bulge while sitting with her husband and children. “Surprise Surprise!” the “Come Clean” singer captioned her December 12 Instagram image.
Hilary then followed up the pregnancy announcement with another photo of her growing baby bulge. She said in the caption, “Been trying to hide this thing for a minute.”
Hilary hinted about extending her family months before her pregnancy announcement. “I’m in my family-making phase,” she said in a June cover interview with Shape magazine. “I built this and I wanted this and so I have to be here to enjoy the joyful and the painful and everything in between.”
The How I Met Your Father actress also talked out about the difficulties of having children, describing motherhood as “f–king hard” yet “endlessly rewarding.”
“I’ve had to get really good at being disappointed in myself,” she told me. “I think that when you have a baby, you’re just wired to think that you are loaded with all the answers and all of the capability, and we’re still just human beings.”
