Julianne Hough, the 35-year-old Dancing With the Stars co-host, recently posted her identical full-body workout, which showed her looking both powerful and fashionable while sweating.
In an Instagram video, the Footloose actor detailed her workout regimen, including how many reps she performs, so her followers could imitate it at home. “It feels so gooood to be back ????????,” Julianne captioned the video. “Grab some weights, and let’s do this together.”
Jules began with a squat press, performing eight reps with what seemed to be a 10-pound weight on each side. Her stomach and legs appeared chiseled as she progressed through the complex workout. The Rock of Ages actress next performed another complex exercise, a lunge to step up with shoulder push, repeating eight reps on each side. The exercise targeted her glutes, quadriceps, and hamstrings, as well as her shoulders and core stability. Julianne added some weighted cardio by doing four square hops while gripping and tapping a medicine ball to the floor for three rounds.
Julianne recently told Women’s Health that when she’s not doing strength training at the gym, she prefers SoulCycle and CorePower Yoga. “I love being around people and community,” she told me. And, of course, she likes to bust a dance move that will get your pulse racing!
Jules like dance exercises so much that she developed her own fitness program, Kinrgy, which includes meditations, dancing videos, and other routines.
With her hectic schedule, Julianne prioritizes eating nutritious meals. She normally opts for a protein smoothie with healthy fats like avocado and almond butter, as well as fresh fruit like spinach, blueberries, and bananas, along with a small amount of protein powder and almond milk, she told WH.
She also like tacos and guacamole, and if she’s wanting pizza or spaghetti, she’ll indulge! For supper, however, the dancer frequently opts for grilled chicken or fish with vegetables.
