Makes 12 cocktails
Raise a glass of Mediterranean Sparkling Holiday Punch! This festive blend of bright citrus, bubbly goodness, and a hint of the Mediterranean will have your taste buds dancing like it’s a holiday in the sun. Perfect for celebrating with a splash of sunshine!
INGREDIENTS
Seeds from 2 to 3 pomegranates, for ice (optional)
2 cups cranberry pomegranate juice
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons orange blossom water
1 cup vodka (optional)
1 (750ml) bottle Cava, chilled
2 cups club soda, chilled
2 oranges, sliced in 1/4-inch rounds
2 limes, sliced in 1/4-inch rounds
Sliced fruit and mint sprigs, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
1. The night before: Prepare the pomegranate ice (optional). Place pomegranate seeds in a flexible ring mold, like a bundt cake pan, fill with water, and freeze overnight. Be sure to chill the Cava and club soda in the fridge as well.
2. Mix and chill: In a 3-quart punch bowl, combine cranberry-pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice, orange blossom water, and vodka (if using). Stir gently to mix. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
3. Just before serving: Add the bubbles. Pour in the chilled Cava and club soda, and stir gently to combine.
4. Add ice: Place the pomegranate ice ring (or a large block of ice) in the center of the punch bowl. Garnish with orange and lime wheels.
5. Serve: Set out glasses with fruit slices and mint sprigs. Place a ladle in the punch bowl so guests can serve themselves. Cheers!
