  • 225 g turkey
  • 225 g extra lean beef
  • 2 tbsps ketchup, low salt
  • 0.12 cup bbq sauce (2 tbsp)
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 40 g bread crumbs
  • 40 g chili powder

Directions

  • Mince the beef and turkey meat yourself (if possible) to ensure leaner cuts.
  • Add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
  • Separate mix into four equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  • Grill until ready, approximately 6-8 minutes per side (about 6 minutes on George Foreman grill).
  • Freeze any unused mixture.
