Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup sliced green pepper
- 3 1/2 cups chopped or sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 small carrots, diced
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
Directions
- In skillet, brown ground beef and drain off fat.
- Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Cover and cook over medium heat until boiling. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 35 minutes. Serve hot.
