Very easy to make bread with a sweet, buttery flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 12 fl oz beer
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup wheat flour

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350° F (175° C).
  • Grease loaf pan.
  • Mix all ingredients, except for butter.
  • Pour mixture in loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Place 1 stick of butter on top of loaf.
  • Return to oven and bake an additional 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Sprinkle top of loaf with sea salt (optional). Serve hot.
