Ingredients
- 2 cups brown rice (long-grain, cooked)
- 9 oz tomato paste
- 1 medium onion
- 6 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsps nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp adobo all purpose seasoning
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric (ground)
Directions
- Chop onion and garlic. Sauté in pot with olive oil.
- Add rice, tomato paste, and seasonings.
- Add water and stir until tomato paste is dissolved. Bring to boil.
- Reduce temperature and simmer while covered. Stir occasionally until liquid is absorbed.
