Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup milk evaporated
  • 1 dash pepper to taste
  • 1 dash salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 1/2 cubes chicken powder with 3 cups of water
  • 1 can asparagus canned
  • 1/4 head medium cauliflower roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium potato diced

Directions

  • Heat margarine in a pot. Cook onion and garlic until glassy. Add cauliflower and potato. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add asparagus, asparagus juice, stock and milk.
  • Bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chives and serve.
