Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 head medium lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped or sliced tomato
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, low fat
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing, reduced fat
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onions
  • 1/4 cup diced portabella mushrooms

Directions

  • Brown ground beef in a pan over medium-high heat. Drain once cooked and allow to cool slightly.
  • Toss lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms in a bowl.
  • Top the salad with ground beef (slightly warm).
  • Sprinkle the cheese.
  • Serve ranch dressing on the side.
