Cheesy Chicken Tomato Pasta
Whole grain pasta with chicken, tomato sauce and cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp ground basil
- 1 small whole tomato
- 2 oz fat free cheese
- 6 oz chicken breast
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 8 oz whole wheat pasta
Directions
- Heat sauce over medium heat. Add basil, parsley, pepper, salt, and tomato.
- Pour half of sauce mixture over the top of thawed chicken. Cook chicken on foil-lined baking dish in 350 °F (175 °C) oven for 20 minutes.
- Cook pasta as instructed on box.
- After chicken has cooked, pour cheese over chicken, and place back in oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.
- Pour remaining sauce mixture over pasta, and top with chicken.
- Optional: add a teaspoon of parmesan cheese.
