  • 2 cans asparagus pieces
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 25 g flour
  • 2 oz unsalted butter, light (2 tbsp)
  • 4 cups chicken broth

Directions

  • Melt butter over medium heat, then mix in flour. Add in diced onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
  • Add in both cans of asparagus pieces and the chicken broth. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Ladle small portions of the soup into a blender and puree.
  • Season to taste.
