Ingredients

  • 1 can reduced sodium cream of chicken or turkey soup
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1 box stove top chicken flavor stuffing mix
  • 1/3 cup 1% fat milk
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions

  • Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with spices to taste.
  • Spray a 4 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker with pam and place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, combine soup and milk, then pour over chicken.
  • Combine stuffing mix with water. Spoon over chicken and soup mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low heat 6-8 hours.
  • Serve with a side salad.
  • Note: try to trim all the fat off the chicken before cooking them. Shred the chicken before it is served.
