  • 10 cups three cheese tri-color tortellini
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 6 tsps chicken base
  • 12 oz bonless, skinless chicken breast, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 8 cups water

Directions

  • Bring the water to a boil. Add chicken base and drop in the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5 minutes until chicken is mostly done.
  • Add mixed vegetables and toss in the basil leaves and parsley. After a few minutes the vegetables will be almost done.
  • Add the tortellini. After a few minutes the tortellini will be cooked.
  • Add salt to your liking and other seasonings as you prefer.
