Ingredients

  • 2 tsps peanut oil
  • 4 breasts, bone and skin removed chicken , sliced into strips
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 tsps ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup slices water chestnuts
  • 1 medium red pepper, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce
  • 2 tsps packed brown sugar

Directions

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, saute the garlic and ginger in peanut oil and stir quickly for 30 seconds.
  • Raise the heat, add the chicken, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the broccoli, water chestnuts, and red pepper while stirring quickly after each addition.
  • Finally, add the soy sauce, oyster, and brown sugar and cook until the vegetables are tender but not soggy.
  • Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy your meal.
