- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 1/2 cups diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 3/4 cups stewed tomatoes
- 7 oz macaroni pasta
- 16 oz extra lean ground beef
- 1 3/4 cups pinto beans
Directions
- Cook macaroni according to directions.
- While pasta is cooking, brown beef with chili powder .
- Add diced tomatoes and green chilies (like Ro-tel), stewed tomatoes and pinto beans.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine pasta and beef mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Optional: top with sour cream or cheddar cheese.
