Ingredients

  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate
  • 1 crust, single 9" frozen pie crust
  • 3 tbsps butter
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups halves pecans, chopped

Directions

  • Bake pie crust for 10 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
  • Melt chocolate and butter in double broiler.
  • Mix all other ingredients in bowl.
  • Fold in chocolate and butter. Pour all into pie crust.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 325 °F (160 °C).
