  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 4 cucumbers (with peel)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 6 tbsps white wine vinegar

Directions

  • Dissolve sugar in water then add vinegar. Put in fridge to chill.
  • Slice cucumbers on mandolin. Layer in a bowl and add salt. Set aside for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Rinse off cucumbers and strain. Add to vinegar syrup then put a dash of pepper and chill.
