Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup cilantro
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 9 tsps ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 8 fl oz white wine
  • 8 oz snow peas
  • 1 lb deveined shrimp

Directions

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
  • Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook 2 minutes.
  • Add the wine and bring to a boil.
  • Nestle the shrimp in the onion and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add snow peas and stir to combine. Continue to cook until shrimp are bright pink and cooked through, about 2 minutes.
  • Stir in cilantro, salt, and pepper.
