Ingredients

  • 5 cups water
  • 3 tsps bouillon cubes
  • 3 stalks large celery
  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 16 oz lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp crumbled bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 medium onion

Directions

  • Brown ground beef.
  • When nearly browned, add onion.
  • Drain well.
  • Combine ground beef with remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for 2 hours.
