Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 oz chopped garlic (2 tbsp)
  • 2 cups long-grain brown rice, cooked
  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
  • Cook beef, garlic, and onion in skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned. Drain.
  • Stir in cooked rice, pepper, soup and water.
  • Place shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix in an ungreased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Spoon beef mixture over coleslaw/shredded cabbage.
  • Cover and bake for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
