Italian Zucchini Recipe With Nutrition Data and Calorie Count
Italian Zucchini
A nice lighter side dish to grilled items. Can even be tossed with pasta.

Ingredients
- 1 package frozen zucchini, sliced
- 1/2 large onion, sliced
- 14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes (italian style)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
- 1/2 oz light butter (1 tbsp)
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients except butter.
- Simmer on low-medium heat until onions and zucchini are cooked but firmer in texture. Approximately 15 minutes but don't over cook.
- When ready to serve mix in the butter.
- Serve in small bowls because you want to get all the juice too which has great flavor!
