Very easy to make bean chili.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps chili powder
  • 2 tbsps cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 16 oz salsa
  • 1 cup water
  • 32 oz tomatoes, diced
  • 31 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Directions

  • In a large sauce pan cook onions ( I use a little water to help them soften and not get crispy) with garlic until the onions are soft.
  • Add all other ingredients (except hot pepper) to pan. If you want a soupier chili, add some extra water till you get the consistency you desire.
  • Cook about 15 minutes or until hot.
  • Add hot pepper to season (optional).
