- 1 cup petite diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 tbsps chili powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup tomato sauce no salt added
- 1 cup dried dark red kidney beans
- 1 lb lean ground beef
Directions
- Cook hamburger meat in a large pot until no longer pink.
- Add onions and cook until clear. Drain and rinse. Return to pot.
- Add all remaining ingredients at once.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
