Mozzarella Chicken Marinara
A delicious Italian chicken dish with a marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients
- 3 medium chicken breasts
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp leaves basil
- 4 tsps leaves dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 3 slices whole milk mozzarella cheese
- 3 cups diced tomatoes
Directions
- Place chicken breast in roaster oven.
- Pour tomato sauce and diced tomatoes on top of chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle with basil, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Cook at 375° F (190° C) for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes spooning sauce over chicken every 15 minutes.
- Place 1 slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each breast, cover to melt cheese.
- Serve with rice or pasta and enjoy!
