  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp molasses
  • 2/3 cup sugar

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  • Mix butter, sugar and molasses until creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla and mix until creamy.
  • Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Add oats.
  • Drop small balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
