Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped small broccoli florets
  • 0.12 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup fat free skim milk
  • 1/2 cup light cream cheese
  • 9 oz fettuccine

Directions

  • Place cream cheese, milk, parmesan cheese and butter in small saucepan; cook on medium-low heat until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
  • Add pepper, garlic powder and nutmeg; stir until well blended.
  • Meanwhile, add vegetables and pasta to 2 1/2 qt. boiling water in large saucepan; cook 3 minutes. Drain.
  • Toss pasta mixture with cream cheese mixture.
