  • 1/2 tsp coarse kosher salt
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups 100% pure pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp cloves (ground)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger (ground)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Beat eggs in a large bowl.
  • Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture to eggs.
  • Gradually pour in evaporated milk. Mix well.
  • Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
