- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1 3/4 cups 100% pure pumpkin
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp cloves (ground)
- 1/2 tsp ginger (ground)
- 1/2 tsp coarse kosher salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 pie crust
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl.
- Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture to eggs.
- Gradually pour in evaporated milk. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
