Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 4 cups green beans
  • 4 tsps red pepper flakes
  • 2 limes yield lime
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsps olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 oz raw almonds

Directions

  • In medium bowl pour olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, cilantro, juice from 1 lime, red onion, and 3 cloves of garlic, mix well.
  • Clean, peel, and devein shrimp; place in premade mixture, marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash and trim green beans. Place in steamer, steam on low for 10 minutes. Remove from steamer and place to the side.
  • Chop almonds into small pieces and place in a medium skillet. Heat until golden add 1tbs olive oil, garlic, green beans, and red pepper flake, heat through and toss. Place on serving platter.
  • Add shrimp to skillet over low-medium heat cook until pink. Pour cooked shrimp over green beans. Squeeze juice from 1 lime over top.
