Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 2 stalks large celery
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 serving 1 packet splenda
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp or 1 packet mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 oz light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup fat free half and half
  • 8 oz low fat cheese

Directions

  • Brown the hamburger with the celery, onion and garlic; drain fat.
  • Add tomato sauce, Splenda, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well and let simmer uncovered about 10 minutes or so to blend the flavors.
  • Put meat mixture in the bottom of a well greased glass pie plate; mix in about 1/2 the cheese. Spread remaining cheese on top.
  • Beat the eggs in a small bowl and whisk in the mayonnaise and cream.
  • Pour custard mixture evenly over the cheese.
  • Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 30-35 minutes until nicely browned.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
