- 6 oz canned diced green chili peppers
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 4 tbsps chili powder
- 1 1/2 cups pacific beef broth
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 1 3/4 cups canned black beans
- 1 3/4 cups red beans
- 1 3/4 cups kidney beans
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 lb canned whole tomatoes
- 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium red onion, chopped
- 16 oz lean ground turkey
- 1 1/3 cups frozen corn
Directions
- Use a large 6-8 quart slow cooker. Brown the turkey in a pan over medium heat with the onion and bell peppers.
- Add the tomato sauce and refried beans to the slow cooker and stir until smooth.
- Add the whole tomatoes and crush to desired chunkyness.
- Add turkey mixture and all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir well.
- Add beef broth to desired consistency.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
