Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt
  • 4 cakes bakers yeast (compressed)
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions

  • Mix flour with water, mix, and rest for 60 minutes.
  • Mix in salt and rest for 30 minutes.
  • Mix in yeast and rest for 30 minutes.
  • Stretch and fold, then rest for 60 minutes. Repeat this step for two more times.
  • Shape into a ball. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Next day, preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Score the dough and bake for 40 minutes.
