  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 16 oz ground pork
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 31 oz chicken broth
  • 1 oz orange peel (small orange)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 poblano peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 31 oz water
  • 15 1/2 oz hominy

Directions

  • Brown meat. Drain any fat.
  • Add onion, pepper and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about an hour.
  • Remove orange peel before serving.
